2020 FCVHOA Board Vote & Bylaw Change Vote
Members, we usually conduct this important vote at our annual Labor Day picnic; however, due to Covid-19 we will not be having our picnic and we have adjusted accordingly.
From August 27th-August 31st, voting will be available via this online ballot and by drop box. In person voting will also be available on August 29th from 9am-1pm at the French Creek Village pool.
NOTE: Each household is allowed one vote.
We will be voting on the following 3 Board Class Representatives:
Tim Gerber, FCVHOA Class B Representative
Neighbors,
It has been an honor serving on the FCVHOA Board of Directors for the past two years. While I had not planned to stay on for another term I have been convinced by my fellow board members to stick around for a second term.
When I joined the board, my goal was to increase memberships, improve communications and create new events and more opportunities for our great neighborhood to get together and have some fun.
In my first year we added an Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th bike parade and began holding Summer Movie Swim Nights at the pool. We also successfully catered the annual Labor Day Picnic with the help of our talented neighbors who know their way around a BBQ pit, which saved the HOA and its members hundreds of dollars.
We had hoped to bring back these events and even more this year but we all know 2020 has been the year of cancelled events.
Despite a raging global pandemic we opened the pool nearly on time, with all necessary safety precautions and have had a wonderful season. We also managed to increase memberships which should keep us in good financial shape as we round out 2020 and look forward to a hopefully more normal 2021.
We have also increased communication by using our social media pages, email, newsletters and our new website (built and maintained by my wife Anne). We will continue to use these channels to keep you informed and in the loop on what’s happening in the Village.
I respectfully ask for your support and your vote for a second term and look forward to seeing you around the neighborhood.
Missy Grantham, FCVHOA Class B Representative
My name is Missy Grantham and I am running for a 2nd term on the FCV Board of Directors as a Class B resident.
My husband Ron and I moved to FCV in 1982 to raise our 2 boys. After practicing for more than 43 years, I am now a retired registered pharmacist. My husband and I participated on the Board in early years but due to family needs and work schedules, we were not able to serve more. I completely understand the pressures and “pulls” of family, work, etc. and therefore know that those of us that now have the time, can continue to help guarantee that our neighborhood remain the wonderful “Village” that we love!
I am available and open to all ideas and “sides of the coin” to make our community the best place to live in San Antonio!!
Delores McEntire, FCVHOA Class A Representative
I have lived in French Creek Village and have been a member of the Homeowners Association since 1976.
I have had the privilege of serving on the Homeowners Association Board at different positions over the years.
Retired from the insurance business after over 30 years.
