BLOCK CAPTAINS

The French Creek Village HOA Block Captains provide an invaluable service to our organization. 

 

Each captain is responsible for disseminating the news and information about the HOA to their respective neighborhood blocks. This ensures that no one volunteer has too great a territory to cover that it becomes too great to manage.

 

The duties include affixing a newsletter or some form of communication that the HOA provides to your neighbor's front door. We cannot, for legal reasons, put our HOA communications into their mailbox.

 

This is a great position for those neighbors who want to donate time, but find it hard with jobs and kids. We provide the resources for you and your family to affix our HOA communications to their front door. Simple as that!

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IF I SIGN UP?

​

We are looking for one Committee Lead who is willing to coordinate a group of additional committee members. This way the duties are shared equally amongst all members. 

​

Expectations of Committee Leads:

  • Scheduling committee meetings

  • Communicating with members

  • Delivering newsletters and other forms of HOA communication to the homes of various block captains

  • Following up with block captains on making important delivery dates

  • Reporting to HOA board

​

Expectations of Committee Members:

  • Attend committee meetings

  • Respond to committee communications

  • Make deadlines within your block as assigned by committee
